Hyperlink Generator

Create clean HTML anchor tags in seconds. Enter a URL and anchor text, set your options, and copy the ready-to-paste link code.

How to Use the Hyperlink Generator

Creating HTML hyperlinks manually is error-prone, especially when you need to remember rel attributes, target parameters, and proper HTML encoding. This tool handles all of that automatically.

Simply enter your destination URL, write the anchor text (the clickable words the user sees), add an optional tooltip title, and choose whether the link should open in a new tab or carry a nofollow attribute. Click Generate and copy the clean code.

When to Use rel="nofollow"

Use nofollow on links to: sponsored or paid content, user-generated content (comments), external sites you don't fully trust, or affiliate links. Don't use it on editorial links to authoritative external sources — those should pass link equity freely.

FAQs

Anchor text is the visible, clickable text of a hyperlink. Google uses it as a strong relevance signal — links with descriptive anchor text (like "local SEO services" rather than "click here") help search engines understand the topic of the destination page, boosting its relevance for that keyword.
It's generally best practice to open external links in a new tab (target="_blank") so users don't navigate away from your site. However, for internal links (links to other pages on your own site), keeping the user in the same tab is usually preferred.
When using target="_blank", this tool automatically adds rel="noopener noreferrer" as a security measure. "noopener" prevents the opened page from accessing the original page's window object (preventing malicious scripts), and "noreferrer" hides the referrer URL from the destination site.
Currently the tool generates one link at a time. Simply generate, copy, then update the fields for the next link. Each takes only seconds.
